Viikki Library closed due to water damage

Viikki Library will be closed until further notice due to water damage. The library is undergoing renovations, and it is not yet known when the repairs will be completed. We will provide more information about the library’s reopening once the renovation schedule is finalized.

We recommend that Viikki Library users change the primary pick-up location for their reservations to any library that is open and is convenient for them in the Helmet online library. Changing the pick-up library

If the pick-up location of your reservations is Viikki Library, they will be redirected to Malmi Library.

If your reservation has been transferred to Malmi Library but you are unable to pick it up, please contact us by email at viikin_kirjasto@hel.fi or by telephone on +358 (0)9 3108 5071.
