Viikki Library closed due to water damage

Viikki Library will be closed until at least 26 July due to water damage. Further information on the library’s reopening will be available once the extent of the necessary repairs is known.

  • If you have any reservations waiting for pick-up at Viikki Library, you can pick them up from Malmi Library between 13 July and 26 July. No new reservation notifications will be sent for these reservations, and the pick-up location will still be shown as Viikki Library in the reservation details.
  • If your reservations are on their way to Viikki Library, they will be redirected to Malmi Library. Reservation notifications will be sent out as normal for these reservations.

If your reservation has been transferred to Malmi Library but you are unable to pick it up, please contact us by email at viikin_kirjasto@hel.fi or by telephone on +358 (0)9 3108 5071 (Monday to Friday at 9.00–15.00).
