Pohjois-Haaga Library closed on 22 June–2 August due to renovation

Pohjois-Haaga Library will be closed from Monday 22 June onwards due to renovations. The renovation includes structural and ventilation improvements to make the premises more comfortable to use. The library will be reopened on Monday 3 August 2026.  

During the renovation, Pohjois-Haaga Library will be closed, and customers will not be able to pick up reservations or return materials to the library. The nearest libraries that will be open to the public are the libraries of Etelä-Haaga and Kannelmäki and Ristikko Library in Konala.

Reservations during the renovation 

Customers of Pohjois-Haaga Library can choose to pick up their reservations at any other Helmet library. Reservations can also be suspended for the duration of the renovation, which will keep them in the reservation queue. The library staff will advise you on how to edit your reservations, if necessary

The last date for reservation deliveries to Pohjois-Haaga Library will be Tuesday 9 June. The last day to pick up these reservations will be Thursday 17 June, and the reservations can be picked up at Pohjois-Haaga Library as usual.

From Wednesday 10 June onwards, reservations marked for pick-up at Pohjois-Haaga Library will be redirected to Etelä-Haaga Library for pick-up. The pick-up location will be shown on the reservation notification.
