Jätkäsaari Library closed 26 June– 20 July 2026 due to floor maintenance

Jätkäsaari Library will be closed from Friday 26 June to Monday 20 July 2026 for floor maintenance. The library will reopen on Tuesday 21 July 2026.

During the maintenance, the library cannot be visited and materials cannot be picked up from or returned to Jätkäsaari Library. Customers of Jätkäsaari Library can make use of the services of the neighbouring Lauttasaari, Rikhardinkatu and Oodi libraries during the maintenance.

Reservations during the maintenance

Customers of Jätkäsaari Library can change the pick-up location of their reservations to any other Helmet library. They can also freeze their reservations for the duration of the maintenance, allowing them to retain their place in the reservation queue. Library staff will assist customers with changing their reservations if needed.

Monday, June 15, is the last day when reserved items will arrive at the Jätkäsaari Library. The final pick-up date for these reservations is June 25, and they can be picked up normally from the Jätkäsaari Library.

Starting Tuesday, June 16, reservations marked for pick up at the Jätkäsaari Library will instead be redirected to the Rikhardinkatu Library for pick up. The pick-up location will be shown in the reservation notification.
