Games Week at the library

International Games Week (Peliviikko) is celebrated once a year in November. The national Games Week in Finland was created on the initiative of libraries. This year, the Games Week will be held from 1 to 9 November 2025.

During the Games Week, there are many game and gaming events at libraries for both children and adults.

All Games Week events can be found in the event calendar with the search word “peliviikko”.

At Helmet libraries, you can even have a game day every day:

• borrow a board game, console game or an outdoor game
• book a room at the library for gaming
• take part in the Helmet game challenge
• borrow books and magazines about games
• participate in a gaming event.
