Suutarila Library to move to temporary premises

Suutarila Library will be moving to temporary premises at Vaskiniitynkuja 5. According to the current schedule, the library will be opened in the temporary premises in February 2025.

Suutarila Library will provide limited services for the remainder of the year 2024. The library will be closed for the move as of Wednesday 1 January 2025. You can request library staff to extend the loan period of material borrowed from the Suutarila Library past the closure. The reservation pick-up location for your materials will be automatically updated to Malmi Library. If you want, you can change the pick-up location by logging in to your account in the Helmet online library or ask library staff to do it for you.

The new premises will be ready for the Suutarila Library in autumn 2027. The new library building will also house a school, a daycare centre and youth services. The new building will replace the current multi-purpose building at Seulastentie 11.
