Munkkiniemi Library to close for a week due to renovations

Munkkiniemi Library will be closed for renovation from 20 to 26 October 2025.

Munkkiniemi Library will be closed for renovation from 20 to 26 October 2025.

The library must be closed due to renovation work taking place inside the library above the front door. This means that you will not be able to visit the library during the renovation. The library’s return box will also be unavailable.

You will not be able to pick up reservations from Munkkiniemi Library between 20 and 26 October. If you wish, you can change the library where you pick up your reservations for the duration of the renovation. To change your pick-up library, log in to the helmet.fi web library with your library card number and PIN, and change your primary pick-up location under Your account > Profile.

Reservations already on the shelf will not expire; their pick-up deadline will be postponed by one week.

The libraries closest to Munkkiniemi Library are those in Etelä-Haaga, Töölö and Pikku Huopalahti. You can check the opening hours of these and other Helmet libraries at helmet.fi/libraries.
