Activity Bus Välkky
A versatile and adaptable event vehicle for a wide range of needs, for the residents’ enjoyment.
On weekdays, Välkky tours schools and kindergartens far from physical libraries. The programme includes the traditional lending and returning of books, but also book tips, reading dog visits and workshops.
In the evenings and at weekends, Välkky can be found at various events. We aim to reach out to Espoo residents, especially in areas where there are otherwise no culture services or opportunities for participation. Välkky often participates in events such as fairs and carnivals organised by associations or societies, school seasonal fairs, and festivals and events of Espoo.
